Melissa, better known as “Missy”, is a quiet, polite young lady who tries hard to please people. Initially shy, once she gets to know you she is very friendly. Missy, born September of 1989, likes bowling, playing floor hockey, drawing and circle-a-word books. Her favorite foods include tacos, hot dogs and chicken bomber subs. In a 12th grade special education life skills class, she does well and often helps by running errands for her teacher. Missy likes science and English classes. Her foster family has had both dogs and cats and she has enjoyed both. Cory, born August of 1994, is a cute, quiet, pleasant young lady who likes to please others. She is timid around adults and authority figures but finds her voice when with her friends. Cory enjoys bowling, playing her keyboard, tennis, swimming and playing the flute in her school band. Her favorite foods are pizza, chicken fingers and assorted subs. Cory is in 7th grade special education classes where she particularly likes social studies and science. She hopesto go on to college and get a job working with younger children. Cory likes dogs and cats.Melissa and Cory are described as sweet girls who need a family that will remain committed to them for the rest of their lives. They need a loving, fun and warm forever family to help them reach their full potential.
