Gilbert is described as a creative, funny, genuine young man. He likes drawing, cars and community work programs. Gilbert is a savvy techie; he likes to take things apart and see how they work. In 10th grade, he functions at a 3rd grade level and attends a day treatment program where he is in a classroom with a 1:1 aide. Gilbert desperately wants to be adopted and live in a home with his family. He hopes for a family who is patient and understanding.
