Matthew, better known as Matt, is an adorable, friendly teenager who is easy to get along with and forms connections effortlessly. His favorite store is Wal-Mart and he frequently begs staff to take him there so he can buy a new watch or “light-up shoes.” Matt has so many watches that when asked by his caseworker how many he had, he thought about it for a few minutes and replied, “a lot!” In special education classes, his developmental age is younger than twenty. With a constant smile on his face, Matt brings joy to everyone around him. He does exceptionally well in a family setting and should thrive in a loving home. Matt very much wants to be adopted and to be part of a permanent family.
