Rebekah is an engaging, talkative young lady. She loves shopping, watching movies, drawing and playing games. Rebekah enjoys having her hair and nails done. She does not participate in many sports, but she likes to swim. Her plans for the future are to go to college to become a pediatrician, however she doesn’t like the thought of giving or receiving shots! Rebecca is very social, but she fears public speaking and being up in front of large groups. In 10th grade special education classes, she receives educational support. Rebekah very much wants to be adopted, but is anxious about the adoption process. She will need a very committed, patient family who will help her build self-esteem, independent living skills and a sense of identity. She is open to all types of families. Rebekah has a maternal grandmother and siblings with whom she’d like to maintain contact.
